Catholic Alumni Club of Detroit

Who We Are

Our Purpose

The Catholic Alumni Club of Detroit (CACD) is a group of single, practicing Catholics who have 4 year or 2 year degrees or have a nursing degree. If an applicant is successful without any college time, the applicant will be accepted.  The group's purpose is to provide a friendly setting for people to meet and develop friendships with other singles who share the Catholic faith.

Our Membership

CACD is an organization of about 95 single Catholic men and women in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Membership comes primarily from Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
While CACD is an organization of singles, it is not a matchmaker organization. People join CACD for many reasons, including the opportunity to make new friends and to improve their social and spiritual lives. However, dating and marriages do occasionally occur between members.

We are members of our local parishes around the Archdiocese of Detroit, but the organization as such is not itself tied to any particular parish.

We have meetings, dinners, and events in as many and in as diverse places as our members are willing to sponsor for each other: East Side, West Side, North, South, or even road trips out of the area.

Our History

Here is an old history (of unknown date) about the CAC National association.
